Penny spent her youngest years literally at the ocean’s edge. Their beautiful family property was on Pebble Beach, south of Powell River. She feels blessed that childhood years were spent in such a wild, untouched, natural environment. This intimate connection with Nature fuels her painting inspiration.
Artistic jobs followed graduation, including journalism and photography, followed by an Obstetrical RN career. In the flow of work, travels, art, music and life, she met her husband Tony, a Vancouver musician. Two beautiful sons were raised here in North Vancouver, each with their own wonderful adventures.
Mainly a watercolour painter, Penny is in awe of nature's changing magic, a gift constantly with us; she humbly loves translating it onto paper.
