Areej M.A Zahda completed a Diploma in Architecture in 1996 from Polytechnic University in Hebron, a Bachelor in Culture of Art in 2002 from Helwan University (Cairo, Egypt) after receiving a five-year scholarship, and a Higher Diploma in Rehabilitation and Preservation in 2009 from Al-Quds University. She participated in several exhibitions in Palestine and Egypt between 1997 and 2008, in addition to participating in several workshops on restoration and preservation of archaeological sites in several European countries like Italy, Greece and Cyprus.
She focuses on showing aesthetics of difference in her works by exploring and translating contradictions around us on a two- or three-dimensional surface and through visual media.
