Daniele Desourdy
Saint-Basile-le-Grand, Quebec
Danièle Désourdy, born in 1969 in Quebec's Eastern Townships, has had a deep connection to nature and animals since childhood, learning to draw through observation. Raised by a mother who was a renowned artist, art has always been central to her life. She graduated from FACE (Fine Arts Core Education) in Montreal and earned a visual arts diploma from Cégep du Vieux Montréal.
Her passion for wildlife leads her to specialize in animal art, focusing on intricate details of fur, skin, and shapes, achieving a realism that makes her subjects appear alive. Her work aims to highlight the beauty of the natural world.
Désourdy has won numerous awards, including gold medals at the Mondial Art Academia and a prestigious exhibition
