Rob Sawatzky

Rob Sawatzky was born and raised in Vancouver and has always enjoyed the outdoors as well as being passionate about art. Initially his focus was working with wood and this led to a 30 year teaching career in the wood industry. While teaching Rob attended art classes at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Emily Carr University of Art and Design and Langara College.
Now retired from teaching, Rob’s focus has moved away from wood and into painting and drawing.
