Inoka Manori LaVallee
Surrey, British Columbia
Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka I started painting from my early childhood and had many solo shows from kindergarten to high school, where I won a first price from National News paper “Sithara”.
At 14, I won a scholarship to study art at the worldly acclaimed Russian Academy of Art, Graduating with a Master of Fine Arts degree. Trained in classical arts academic drawing, composition, taught by Salahove, and Glazunov.
At 20 I came to Vancouver B.C. Canada and displayed my work in the art galleries Romanov, Cy Bennett, Downstairs Gallery, Federation of Canadian Artists, and currently Gallery of Art ”Arkady” Poland. With works featured in Ottawa, Los Angeles and New York and in many private collections around the world.
