My name is Cara Louise Lipsett. I am an Elementary Teacher with over 30 years of experience in inner city environments in Ottawa and Toronto. I am also, finally, an Artist. About 10 years ago I picked up a paintbrush at home and began painting for myself, not as a teacher, but as a person. I have no formal art training. I just paint and struggle and learn the hard way.

I love connecting with people through my paintings and I hope that people will find something calming and beautiful to relate to when they see my work.
