Patti M West is a visual artist who resides in Victoria BC in close proximity to the forests, ocean, rivers and lakes that she loves and is inspired to paint. She paints in vivid colorsusing hogh contrasts and varied textures to accentuate her subjects.
She is passionate about relating to the spiritual "presence of place", endeavoring to invite the viewer into an intimate relationship with the view presented in each painting.

In recent years she has improved her skills by taking classed by well known Canadian artists .and by experimenting and practicing new techniques.
Her paintings are in collections across Canada and in the USA.
