Maureen Hobbs Wheeler

Maureen is a central Interior artist, with no formal education but a natural gift for photography, painting, sculpture, and murals. Maureen’s love of nature and history shines through in her art. An active member of the Central Interior Chapter of the FCA, an artist deeply involved with her community to bring art to the people. Maureen’s style invites viewers to look closer to see hidden animals and little details not seen at first glance. Maureen has done some Mural work for the City of Quesnel, and the west Quesnel business Association, refurbishing old murals and recreating old murals to make them fresh and new.
