Gordon Richard Wilson
Qualicum Beach, British Columbia
Gordon Wilson was born and raised in Southern Ontario where he began drawing and painting at a very early age. Years later, Wilson graduated from the Ontario College of Art with a Bachelor of Design degree in 1983. He was employed as a commercial artist working in advertising with his work appearing on television, and in numerous publications.
In 2001, Gordon attended Brock University in Hamilton, Ontario, earning his Bachelor of Education degree and taught at a regional arts secondary school in Caledon, Ontario until retiring in 2017.
Currently, I work in gouache and paint the world around me.
In 2018, Gordon and his wife, Catharine, relocated to Qualicum Beach, BC, where he continues to create and teach art.
