Kim Money
Victoria, British Columbia
Kim's first art piece accepted into an exhibition was “Self portrait with Mom” at the PNE. in Toronto, age 6. That was the catalyst for an art-heavy school course load in both Calgary and Victoria and eventually being accepted into the Alberta College of Art .While Kim has been painting her entire life, it was under the guidance of Nicholas Wilton and the Creative Visionary Program in 2019 that she discovered Intuitive Abstract Art and fell in love.
Lately I have been intrigued by old weathered buildings. The texture, faded colour, remnants of posters and graffiti are all really exciting to me.
