Valerie Wiebe is a landscape artist living and working on the prairies. She has degrees in music, arts education, fine arts and design. Valerie‘s work explores the relationship between the viewer and the vast horizons and vistas of her prairie home. Her work often blurs the boundaries between art and craft, as Valerie explores other mediums like embroidery and Wood burning to feed her passion for colour and design and pattern. Valerie owns Wiebe Works Studio, hosting an art and music festival in June of each year called Art in the Garden Festival. She also hosts and organizes workshops and events through her business called WieGather: Centre for Creative Collaboration.
