Laurie McCallum - Prairie Girl Fine Arts
Grande Prairie, Alberta
Laurie McCallum is a self-taught acrylic artist based in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Originally from Saskatchewan, she spent years in North Eastern British Columbia raising her three children before settling in Alberta, a perfect midpoint between family connections. Her artwork—ranging from heartfelt portraits to works celebrating her Metis heritage to striking oilfield scenes—have found homes across Canada, the United States, and even internationally.
An Exhibiting member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, and the local Peace River Chapter, Laurie continues to turn everyday inspiration into meaningful, realistic works that celebrate the beauty in both nature and the ordinary moments we often overlook.
