Katherine is an artist from Northern Alberta who enjoys painting, journaling and printmaking. Her medium of choice is acrylic paint in all its forms. She works in several genres including florals, portraits, still life, abstracts and the latest Pleine air. A common thread running throughout her work is a strong use of colour, shape and design. Katherine creates work from an inner need to make something. She is inspired by the beauty of nature and the way light illuminates an object or scene.
