Deb Peters
Qualicum Beach, British Columbia
Deb Peters has developed a style to help the viewer to see a story within a painting, to connect the viewer to the art work and enable them to enjoy the story for years to come. This is done through representational scenes, colour/tone and whimsical settings.
Previously, Deb expressed her creative side by becoming a working potter, developing dish-ware and sculptures. Designed in a Japanese style, her works were sold in Western Canada, the Yukon and Japan. She then moved into education, teaching art, music and writing.
Today she resides on Vancouver Island, the natural surroundings continuing to provide inspiration for her art. She is associated with numerous art societies and galleries.

"What is art unless it engages the imagination, leaving us thinking..."
