Trudy came to Canada from Kent, England many years ago and now lives on Vancouver Island with her husband and family dog, Charlie. She is a member of many local art groups as well as 2 FCA Chapters. She is a Past President of the Nanaimo Chapter and served for 3 years. She speaks about loving everything art: the feel of a palette knife spreading good quality paint on canvas to create. She studied art and culture at Emily Carr in her late fifties and continues to take courses forever learning new things.
