Gina Rubin AFCA
Gina Rubin is a contemporary artist whose paintings aim to inspire joy and bring a sense of peace to the viewer. Her work has been described as dream-like and moody, and her subjects range from landscapes to portraits.
Raised in a family of artists, Rubin inherited a passion for art from her mother, artist Janis Eaglesham, and her father, an architect, woodworker, and photographer. She has continued this tradition with a lifelong journey of learning and growth, seeking out knowledge from mentors such as Artist Ron Hedrick, and other renowned artists like Skip Whitcomb, Carolyn Anderson, Ingrid Christensen, and Keven Beilfus. She also attended select programs Fraser Valley University and Emily Carr School of Art, in this pursuit.
