Shalini Maharaj has had the love of arts in her blood from birth. She is a second generation artist, her Dad being a master carpenter. Her love of art came through in her final career choice as PFD, professional floral designer. Now, she pursues her art full time ; creating pieces that are in the pop art, impressionistic style while also pushing colour boundaries. Shalini comes from a family of 4 daughters and shares 2 daughters of her own, with her husband. With this in mind, and great pride, she signs her paintings in her maiden name, Prasad.
