Catherine was born and grew up on her parents' two classic boats for 30 years and thus her acrylic paintings show her love of the beautiful BC coastline, it's rugged mountains, forests and the wildlife that inhabit these areas that are so dear to her heart. Colour, light, composition and most of all, the joy of pattern and design are strongly apparent in her pieces. Her work is found in many collectors' homes. She was invited into the Mondial Art Academia in South France, where she was unanimously named Artiste du Mois in May, 2021. She has recently been accepted into the Peninsula Gallery in Sidney, BC and is a long time member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
