Carmen Tomé started drawing when she was five. Winning awards in school for drawing as well as winning the Textiles and Design Award upon graduation revealed her potential. She went on to study at Emily Carr in Vancouver which was a highly experimental time igniting her creativity. She exhibited her paintings in many galleries.
Carmen Spent 9 yrs as a retouch artist which led to being a successful photographer. The desire to paint persisted as creativity in many mediums is like breathing to her. She has many awards in both painting and photography.
She is the resident artist at Quinta Ferreira Estate Winery, is one of the core members of Okanagan Art Gallery in Osoyoos, and represented by Legacy Den
