Susy Baranszky-Job grew up on the west side of Vancouver, BC, and now moves between Galiano Island and Tsawwassen. She has spent a lifetime creating art through multiple roles, including art therapist, art teacher, and practicing artist. She holds a Diploma of Fine Arts, a Bachelor of Studio Art, a Bachelor of Education in Visual Art Education, a Master’s degree in Arts Education, and a post-master’s Advanced Diploma in Art Therapy. Her work is created intuitively, guided by imaginations, visualizations and memories; liminal space is her preferred vibe. The outcomes of her process often surprise her as much as anyone. Her work has been sold through private and public galleries, commercial retail stores, art cooperatives, and by commission.
