Lea Paulson

Vancouver, British Columbia

Lea Paulson is an artist currently residing in Vancouver, British Columbia. She attended the Fine Arts program at the University of Minnesota, Pilchuck Glass School in Washington, and completed an apprenticeship in stained glass with Stephen Taylor, R.C.A., in Toronto, Ontario. She worked with this medium for 10 years – expanding into 3-D works of sandblasted glass and stone. An eclectic artist, her designs are also portrayed in clay, clothing and fabric design, hand-painted furniture and floorcloths. After moving to Vancouver and having a business in faux finishing and murals, her current focus is on painting and illustration.
Her work is in private and corporate collections in Europe, U.S., and Canada.
“The artist is the person who makes life more interesting or beautiful, more understanding or mysterious, or probably, in the best sense, more wonderful.” – George Bellows
