Description: Margaret Lawther has been a practicing artist for over forty years. She has worked in a variety of media, including sculptural installations, photography, and most recently, painting. She has exhibited across Canada, in the USA and in Europe.
She was a professor at Bishop’s University for twenty three years and retired as Full Professor in 2011. At Bishop’s, she taught mixed media and photography. At present, she is an Associate member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and a member of the Royal Canadian Academy .
