Judy McKinnon

Port Coquitlam, British Columbia

Judy started painting at the University of Calgary in 1975. Workshops in Alberta, British Columbia and Mexico have kept her busy and always learning. A highlight in her painting life was the summer of '88 attending the Ecole des Beaux-Arte in Nimes, France.

Almost all her work is about colour. The more colours in her pallette the happier she is.

Art is for memory, for evoking emotions from those memories and for contemplative, meditative moments for the doer and the viewer.
