Christine Camilleri AFCA

Christine Camilleri's paintings are known for their bold colours, energetic marks and strong design. She works in oils, pastels and acrylics and paints sea, landscapes and wildlife.
She is a signature member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, a Master Circle member of International Association of Pastel Societies and an Eminent Pastellist with Pastel Artists Canada. She has received over a dozen awards, had paintings exhibited internationally and was a finalist for her bison painting "Summer Pastures" in The Artist's Magazine's 26th Annual Art Competition. In December 2016 she was featured in a Pastel Journal article, “Artists to Watch”.
She enjoys teaching and has recently discovered the joy of plein aire painting. "Creating art is my happy place."

I believe that artists are their happiest when surrounded by other people who appreciate art. We belong to a select group who express and record our thoughts, feelings, insights. We share and communicate across space and time. To me art is the portal to the richness of being human.
