Kit Bell is an award winning artist living and working in Kelowna, BC. Primarily a landscape painter, she seeks to record the transient effects of light and the seasons on the landscape. Nature is forever changing and at different times offers us fleeting special looks into the world around us. Kit wants to share what her trained artist’s eye, and imagination, sees with others. Working in a variety of media allows her to choose the best process for an image.

For me, creating art is a question of balance. Life throws a lot at you at times. It could easily become overwhelming. When I am painting, calm drifts through me, creating a balance within. I hope to bring the sense of calm to the viewer. And hopefully restore their balance.
