Early on, Birgit learned to closely examine the world around her to interpret and ultimately express her version of its uniqueness, resulting in paintings with a distinct sense that more of the story lurks just behind the canvas. She is an accomplished and multiple award-winning artist having earned the ‘Associate’ Status with the Federation of Canadian Artists.
She has been honored to receive coaching from world class artist, Donna Zhang. Donna has helped develop Birgit’s unique style without compromising her innate regard for the “old masters”. Her work is technically sound, exceptional and timeless.
