Ever since Dione was a child, she loved to explore the outdoors and was always fascinated by the shapes, colors, and textures of nature, wanting to capture them in her own way. Dione is a self-taught artist. She started painting after an opportunity to meet Robert Bateman. Over the years Dione experimented with different styles and mediums, but always came back to nature as her main source of inspiration. She tries to convey the emotions and sensations that nature evokes in her. Always feeling a strong connection to nature, Dione expresses that in her work. Dione believes that art can be a powerful tool for change, and that nature can be a source of joy and healing for everyone.
