Living in Victoria I am always fascinated with the vibrant activity on Fisgard St. Following a brief rain shower, I noticed the luminous side-walk scene. I wanted to capture this moment in time as the contrast of the metal statue and the silky texture of the festive lanterns really stood out to me. And in addition, as a storied Chinese eatery, known for Dim Sum, it has stood as an iconic landmark for well over 80 years!
