Not For Sale
The inspiration for this trompe l'oeil still life was a lingering memory of a phone call years ago from neighbours complaining about my attempts to practice Beethoven on the piano. The message was essentially this: "Stop. Right. Now. Do not even think about playing before 11 am on a Sunday morning". Of course, I tried to play softly after that but lost heart. Framed size = 26" x 22".
