About the Artwork
This still life was inspired by a commission request that involved creating a composition using a blue cloth, a small boat and 2 shells. I included a polished mahogany cigar box that reminded me of a boat's interior and who wouldn't love the mystery of finding a bottle with a message!! the thick rope was reminiscent of the ropes used to tie on to the wharf.
