Neige éternelle was created in an intuitive process with winter as being the only preconceived idea. The artwork was created using acrylics and ashes on gallery wrapped canvas. Several layers of paint and mediums were applied to create a roadmap. As the work took form mountains could be perceived but were never forced. The Everlasting Snow of British Columbia ended up being the inspiration and title of the artwork. My process is always a long journey of several layers and never knowing the result.
