As I was working over an older painting I missed a spot leaving a pair of eyes staring out. This occurred in August just as we were heading into our 4th Covid wave. What impact has this pandemic had on our emotional and mental health? I have had numerous conversations with people who quietly admit to anxiety and worry about their cognitive status and “forgetting stuff.” Are we really “losing our minds?” Or are we preoccupied and responding appropriately to an overwhelming amount of negative news and the challenging situation we have found ourselves in?
