Not For Sale
Inspired by misty oceanscapes off the Pacific Coast Highway, this painting invites the viewer to see beyond the reasoning mind and play with a different way of perceiving reality. The ocean sky with it's ever changing character seems to be an extension of our own consciousness - an infinite place we visit in dreams where the boundaries and definitions of physical life do not exist. Visiting the ineffable world of the inner senses is best described in this poem by Jane Roberts:
"Today is tomorrow, and present is past.
Nothing exists and everything will last.
There is only this moment, this flicker of light that illuminates nothing but oh! so bright! For we are the spark that flutters in space consuming an eternity of a moment's grace. For today is tomorrow and present and past. Nothing exists and everything will last."
