About the Artwork
This painting is a narrative about the quantum theory that space and time curve together, meaning that time may not go in one direction as we experience it.An older and a younger figure represent two different periods of time, later and earlier. The two figures are divided and connected with nonlinear lines, showing that time can move in any direction, and the variable colours are symbolic of the flux between each moment.
