About the Artwork
The piece "overfishing" is one of the three in my recent collection " Gods Of Garbage".
This series of works depicts the current ecological problems in the World caused by us, humans of this globe- Gods Of Garbage.
Overfishing god in this painting turned away from the viewer because of the shame he feels for his actions. He is stuck in the fishnet that doesn't let him go and run away from the problems. The color of the net is blue which represents the ocean, the background is painted red as a color of danger.
