I have had an admiration for animals all my life, but even more so since my recent return from Africa. I recognized an essence in my wildlife photos that compelled me to paint them. It was an unexplainable connection with each brush stroke on the canvas, and I have not stopped painting these magnificent creatures ever since. They are my Muse.
