Kelly Cannell is a Coast Salish artist from the Musqueam Nation in Vancouver, BC. Raised in an artistic family under the mentorship of her mother, renowned artist Susan Point, Kelly began her artistic journey at age 12. She has since become a prominent figure in contemporary Coast Salish art, working across various mediums including carving, painting, metal sculpture, silk screen printing, and glass. Her work is featured in public art installations throughout Greater Vancouver, blending traditional Coast Salish themes with innovative techniques. In 2024, she received the Polygon BC Achievement First Nations Art Award.
