Louise Solecki Wier, SFCA, is a sculptor whose practice bridges portraiture, art therapy, and forensic reconstruction. Trained in Fine Arts in Canada and Italy, with a BFA from York University and accreditation from the Toronto Art Therapy Institute, she has also studied sculpture internationally and forensic reconstruction under Karen T. Taylor. Her bronze portrait bust and statue of Pope John Paul II are on permanent display in Vancouver, and her work is held in collections worldwide. A dedicated teacher and juror, Louise holds signature status with the Portrait Society of America and the Federation of Canadian Artists.

Louise S. Weir has been a finalist in portrait competitions in three countries as well as winning awards for sculpture in the Canada and the US.She has created works commissioned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Vancouver, BC and the Vancouver, British Columbia Law Courts.
