Tatjana Mirkov-Popovicki is an award-winning Canadian landscape painter with a passion for the west coast and mountains. She is an appraised artist with the Canada Council for the Arts as well as a Senior Signature FCA Artist (SFCA). Her paintings have been represented by fine art galleries since 2005.
"The current phase of my journey deals with responsibility. My paintings celebrate the natural beauty of Western Canada and bring up its pain points and fragility. I am using the visual language the landscape has taught me, to converse with it, the main question being: Can these places be saved?"
