Jean Pederson has been painting for over twenty years, exploring still life, landscape, abstraction, and mixed media. She has received numerous national and international awards, including the FCA Early Achievement Award, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, and Best in Show at the ISEA 2022 International Exhibition. Her work is held in the Royal Collection in Windsor, England, and she has exhibited worldwide, including China, London, Stockholm, New York, San Francisco, Mexico, and across Canada. A popular instructor, Jean has led workshops, juried exhibitions, and presented at colleges, professional organizations, and symposiums throughout North America.
Louise Solecki Wier, SFCA, is a sculptor whose practice bridges portraiture, art therapy, and forensic reconstruction. Trained in Fine Arts in Canada and Italy, with a BFA from York University and accreditation from the Toronto Art Therapy Institute, she has also studied sculpture internationally and forensic reconstruction under Karen T. Taylor. Her bronze portrait bust and statue of Pope John Paul II are on permanent display in Vancouver, and her work is held in collections worldwide. A dedicated teacher and juror, Louise holds signature status with the Portrait Society of America and the Federation of Canadian Artists.
