About the Artwork

In Cascade, layers of luminous foliage emerge from deep, shadowed blues and greens, suggesting a moment suspended between light and darkness. Street lamp lit leaves drift downward through the composition, forming a visual rhythm that evokes movement, growth, and quiet change.
Rather than presenting a fixed scene, the painting captures a fleeting transition between clarity and obscurity. Soft edges and fluid brushwork allow forms to shift and merge, reflecting the subtle, ongoing transformations found in both nature and perception.
Cascade invites viewers into an in-between space where light, shadow, and renewal quietly coexist.
