About the Artwork

When Mother Isn’t Watching captures two mischievous young fawns caught red-hooved where they shouldn’t be—out on the open road in the early morning light. Bathed in golden sunshine and long blue shadows, they look like they’ve paused mid-adventure, perhaps checking if the coast is clear—or if they’re about to get caught. It’s a playful glimpse into the curious spirit of youth, full of wonder, trouble, and the thrill of getting away with something… at least for now.
