Every year out birding, we come across pairs of Swans. This pair, in particular captured our hearts! They had just arrived over Migration. Endured so much to find their place on our Great Lakes and cuddled together to show their Love. My heart was still as I captured the moment in my mind, while sketching on location and in reference pictures I took back to the studio to enjoy working the many layers of inks, charcoal, acrylics and oils that completed this painting. It's a statement piece for sure. I am so grateful to include it in my portfolio. Thank you for taking the time to review it.
