About the Artwork
"Threadwork" invites you to explore a world of texture and tactile sensation. Through a jumble of lace and other elements in a carefully arranged disorder, it aims to evoke our sense of touch. Painted with hand-ground pigment on canvas, the artist's deep connection to textiles is inspired by years of fascination with fabric stores and a career in theatre.
