My paintings are reflections of my life experiences and observation of human relationships. I paint as I feel it, not as a physical likeness but as the entire presence of emotions and senses. I use bright and bold colors. Every form in my artwork has a purpose and is interconnected that allows me to tell a story. I am working in acrylic and oil mediums, which enables me to be more creative.
Canada’s wildlife is as varied as its landscapes. Canada has abundant wildlife populations living within its borders. I see Bisons as epitome of power, speed, and agility, which has inspired me to draw as I see them. They are a big part of diversity in Canadian wildlife. They are the largest mammal in North America who can run up to 35 miles an hour, spin around quickly, jump higher fences, intelligent and are strong swimmers. They are considered ecosystem engineers because they shape the environment around them. They support cultural and economic opportunities for indigenous communities.
