About the Artwork

The series “An Invitation to Pause” is a reflection on finding beauty, connection, and peace in simple moments, even when the world beyond our window feels anything but calm. My paintings are a reminder that beauty and peace can still be found in the ordinary moments of our lives

In a world increasingly defined by political uncertainty, division, and noise, A Chapter of Calm invites us to pause and notice the quiet beauty that remains within reach.

The richly textured hydrangeas are created using recycled dried paint, carefully shaped and applied to the canvas as sculptural elements. This process gives new life to what would otherwise be discarded, while adding depth and dimension to the flowers.
