Inspired by the works of Lawren Harris, Doris McCarthy, and Rockwell Kent, I have travelled to remote regions of the planet in order to take photographs for my art.
A glistening iceberg, newly calved from the Croker Bay Glacier on Devon Island, Nunavut, drifts southward to distribute its ancient meltwater elsewhere.

EDMONTON, Alberta
Donald’s true passion has forever been art. Portraying the links between science/nature and art is central to his being - he seeks to discover the 'architecture' of the natural world and how living things (including humans) ‘fit’ in, thus creating an awareness and greater appreciation of the somewhat 'invisible'.
"I work towards the preservation of wonder, the 'wonder' of nature, and the 'wonder' that each of us carried in our hearts as children which sometimes evaporates with age. I want viewers to not only value and become conscious of the beauty that surrounds us, but also the beauty within."
