We were visiting my dad's lease where some of his cows are to give salt and vitamins to the herd. The babies always hang back, more curious about the people in their midst than the treats. It was a beautiful, foggy evening, and you can see a peak of the foggy field beyond the trees. The calves knees were muddy from fresh puddles made from recent rains in the fields.
