About the Artwork
Policeman's Creek Boardwalk, from which this scene derives, is right in the heart of Canmore. It's easy to be oblivious to the activity of downtown from the creek where waterfowl live and the fall colours dress the mountains. A yellow ochre underpainting peeks through to emphasize the season's colours.
