About the Artwork
Lime-green hydrangeas frosted with pink appear as a frothy cloud in the summer garden.
I planted this shrub a few years ago and have anxiously watched it emerge each spring (as any avid gardener with a hydrangea in this climate would), and so far it has survived the cold faithfully each year. It was immortalized in this painting done in 2023 at the request of a dear, hydrangea-loving family member.
